Our Story
In 2024, we founded Montbridge to solve a quietly urgent crisis: what happens when the backbone of Europe's economy, its small business owners, retire with no one ready to take over? We didn't come from private equity. We didn't want to flip companies or building another sourcing tool. We set out to build something bolder: a technology-enabled platform that steps in at a life-changing moment of ownership succession and brings new life to legacy businesses.
The idea was born from a shared frustration: too many great companies disappearing because succession was too messy, too slow, or too overlooked. We knew there had to be a better way. So we built one. Pairing an AI-native acquisition engine with something no algorithm can replace: entrepreneurial talent.
We don't just acquire businesses. We give them a future, powered by people, scaled by tech, and grounded in operational depth.
