What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated Origination Analyst Intern to join our team and play a key role in deal sourcing and evaluation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in private equity, business development, and financial analysis. You will work closely with senior professionals, gaining hands-on experience in the investment process and exposure to business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct industry research and identify investment opportunities.

• Build target lists using databases, online research, and our in-house deal management platform.

• Engage business owners and CEOs through calls, emails, and LinkedIn while leveraging our internal tools.

• Develop relationships, assess acquisition interest, qualify deals against investment criteria, and present findings.

• Analyse industry trends, business strategies, and financials.

• Build financial models, draft business plans, prepare and present investment reports.

• Monitor portfolio company performance and provide insights.

• Attend management and investor meetings.

• Support fundraising strategies and firm-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills.

• A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn.

• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.

• Basic understanding of financial modelling (LBO, DCF, etc.).

• Experience or coursework in deal sourcing, private equity, or investment origination is a plus.
